What other fiber paparazzi will we be hanging with? How about spending 13 days with knitting Rockstar Bristol Ivy? It’s true, she’s joining us for the entire adventure, plus, teaching 4 classes which include: Short Rows, Intro to Brioche, Bristol Cowl part one, Bristol Cowl part two.

Buenos Aires, Argentina
We begin in the cosmopolitan city of Buenos Aires, Argentina, which is unlike any other city you’ll visit in your life. The combination of South American flair and European elegance makes the Argentine capital stand out. From the French-influenced tango music to the Spanish-inspired “picada” appetizer plate offered at almost every restaurant in Buenos Aires, the modern-day Argentine capital offers quite a singular cultural experience.
After spending time in Buenos Aires, it’s off to Montevideo, Uruguay by ferry to explore the Malabrigo Farm, enjoy a walking tour the factory and dye your own yarn that will be used in a project on the tour. Tobias has personally assured us our visit will be memorable, and who of us can’t wait to see the home of our beloved Malabrigo Yarn first hand?
Manos del Uruguay
While in Uruguay, we will meet with the artisans behind Manos del Uruguay. We’ll learn how their company provides jobs and improved quality of life for rural women of Uruguay. Founded in 1968, Manos del Uruguay believes in responsible consumption and develops beautiful products that are ethical and sustainable.
After our immersion in culture and fiber, we fly north to Iguazu Falls and spend three nights in the luxurious Belmond Hotel located inside the park. This resort is astounding and physically located within the park. You will be able to walk to these amazing falls in less than 5 minutes. Explore the falls and surrounding rain forest via your choice of helicopter, boat or by foot.
The cost includes all lodging in three and four-star hotels, transportation, within the countries, breakfast each day, four (4) dinners, two (2) lunches, classes with Bristol Ivy, admission to the scheduled special sites, and more surprises and a whole lot more fun than you can imagine!
