Beth Brown-Reinsel

Beth Brown-Reinsel has been teaching historic knitting workshops for over 25 years both in the United States and abroad. Her love of traditional methods and her skill in imparting that information to others is well known. She shares her passion through her traditional patterns, workshops, and Knit-Along (KAL) classes. Her workshops are known for the little sweaters which are the class samplers. These small garments teach construction techniques in context rather than through meaningless swatches. Beth wrote the classic book Knitting Ganseys and has produced three DVDs. Her warm and supportive teaching style and her generous and thorough handouts have made her a favorite with guilds, shops, and all the national conferences.

Lucy Neatby

Lucy has been an adventurous knitter since she was 17. She is originally from the UK, where she was a navigating officer in the Merchant Navy. She has lived in Nova Scotia for the last 30 years. The Fleece Artist in Halifax, her LYS, gave her the opportunity to teach some classes, and she discovered her passion for sharing the engineering marvels of knitting. She has not stopped sharing the joy of Happy Stitches since! She is known as much for her colourful appearance as for her friendly, detailed, technique-rich knitting patterns, and her particular fondness for double-layer knitting. She has written three books; Cool Socks Warm Feet, Cool Knitters Finish in Style and A Little Book of BIG Holes for Hand-knitters!, filmed 16 DVD titles and has five classes on Craftsy.com: Foundations of Double Knitting, My First Socks, Next Steps in Socks, Fearless Knitting and the free Sock of Month series for 2016. She also offers an unusual knitting camp on Big Tancook Island off Nova Scotia (where she now lives), or sometimes much further afield. Lucy enjoys trying to dispel the myth that only sedentary, quiet people in rocking chairs knit: she loves cycling, down-hill skiing, sailing, quilting, colourful home improvement and narrow-boating on the historic UK canal system. Michele Bernstein

Michele Lee Bernstein, PDXKnitterati, designs and teaches from her home base in Portland, Oregon. She loves designing accessories, especially if they use one or two skeins of very special yarn. She’s fond of texture (brioche, lace, entrelac, elongated stitches), and loves using interesting techniques to make small objects sing. Her patterns are available through Ravelry and Payhip.

Michele loves teaching knitters to be the boss of their knitting! She teaches at fiber festivals (Vogue Knitting Live, Red Alder Fiber Arts Festival, Oregon Flock and Fiber Festival), guild meetings, retreats, and local yarn shops. Her new book, Brioche Knit Love: 21 Skill Building Projects from Simple to Sublime combines her love for teaching and designing, using simple accessories to take knitters from the easiest one color brioche through more complex brioche techniques.
